A Year of Impact:
Building Temple’s Future, Together

Fiscal Year 2025 Year in Review

A Message from Al Checcio, Senior Vice President of Institutional Advancement

To our Temple community,

This past year, we witnessed something remarkable, not just in the dollars raised but in the stories behind every gift.

Together, the Temple community made FY25 our best fundraising year yet, with more than $133 million in philanthropic support. The total reflects the strength of our community and the belief in Temple’s mission, but even more importantly, it sets the stage for what is still to come. Our goals are even more ambitious, and with your partnership, we intend to build on this momentum and double our impact in the years ahead.

What makes this achievement meaningful is not the figure itself, it is the change behind it. Scholarships were awarded. Research reached bold new frontiers. Community programs expanded. Every one of these steps forward was made possible because of you.

This also marked the first full year under the leadership of President John Fry. Guided by his strategic priorities, Temple is becoming stronger, more innovative and more deeply connected to the community we serve. At the same time, exciting changes are taking shape across campus. From new academic and creative facilities to enhanced student support, Temple is growing as a hub of innovation, artistry and impact for students, faculty and partners who want to make a difference. And the best part is, it will only continue to get better.

As we look toward Temple’s 150th anniversary, there is so much more to come. This is a great time to be part of Temple’s story. We are not done yet, and with your continued support, the next chapter will be even brighter.

With appreciation,

Al Checcio
Senior Vice President, Institutional Advancement
