Temple Made Days
Recap 2025

The annual weeklong event was all about Owls uniting and showing their pride in what it means to be #TempleMade!

It's that time of year again! We celebrated the spirit of hard work and resilience once more at Temple during our fourth annual Temple Made Days.

Programming included highlighting 47 trailblazing alumni from our two awards programs, Gallery of Success and 30 Under 30 as well as Cherry & White Networking Night at REC Philly. President Fry was officially welcomed to the Temple family in a prestigious investiture ceremony. Owls also had the opportunity to make a difference for current and future Temple Owls by participating in Temple Giving Days. It all culminated with our annual TUAA Leadership Summit and our first-ever Temple Made Fest.

Check out the full recap below of all of the highlights!

Temple Giving Days

We are so grateful for your support during this year's Temple Giving Days. Together, we achieved something amazing: over 1,400 Owls came together to raise more than $900,000!

Thank you, Owls, for showing the strength of our community.

Scholarship Celebration

Gifts to scholarships at Temple transforms lives. We celebrated the impact of philanthropy at our Third Annual Scholarship Celebration. This event brought together our generous scholarship donors with the students whose education they support.

Cherry & White Networking Night

This special event, sponsored by Temple Professional Network, offered a unique opportunity to engage with fellow Owls and meet some of this year's 30 Under 30 awardees at REC Philly.

Investiture Ceremony

The investiture ceremony honored the university’s legacy, mission and community, embraced our shared vision for the future, and officially installed John A. Fry as Temple’s 15th president.

There, he also announced a historic $27.5M gift from Sidney and Caroline Kimmel, the largest gift in Temple University history, to the new home for the Klein College of Media and Communication and the Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts.

"Temple’s mission is clear, compelling and distinctive. In the five months that I’ve been here, I have witnessed a culture that unapologetically upholds that mission. And there is no other place that I’d rather be to do this important work.”
John Fry, Temple University President

Honoree Celebration

During a week that is all about being #TempleMade, we celebrated 47 distinguished alumni honorees from our awards programs, Gallery of Success and 30 Under 30. Honorees and their families joined us on campus to celebrate their accomplishments since leaving the nest.

"Seeing the incredible achievements of our honorees— the impact you’ve made on industries, communities, and beyond—is nothing short of inspiring. Temple has always been a place that shapes leaders, doers, and changemakers—and you are proof of that."
Al Checcio, Interim Vice President of Institutional Advancement

TUAA Leadership Summit

The TUAA Leadership Summit was a day of learning and networking for all members of TUAA (Temple University Alumni Association) Parliament and their respective alumni boards.

Temple Made Fest

The first-ever Temple Made Fest was a celebration of Temple University’s entrepreneurial spirit and the incredible talent within our Temple community. This vibrant street festival showcased over 40 businesses owned and operated by Temple alumni, current students and former students.
