Tamica Tanksley, KLN ’00, an inspirational writer, motivational speaker and devout dreamer, created 2SIPS of T in 2020 to encourage, educate and empower women to do powerful things at any age. Tanksley, inspired by every woman who selflessly poured into her, now “pours cups” of communal therapy for you to sip together as we navigate our journey for peace, purpose and prosperity.

After graduating from Klein College of Media and Communication with a degree in media studies and production, Angel Marie Clardy, KLN ’15, connected with executive producer Kevin Strickland, CLA ’03, to start a podcast highlighting local changemakers. The two came together to create All of the Above, an hour-long weekly podcast covering current events, entertainment, news, pop culture, politics and just about any and everything you can think of.

CommonVoice 

Building on the success of CommonHealth, the College of Public Health’s (CPH) official journal, CPH has introduced a podcast called CommonVoice. This podcast provides a behind-the-scenes look at how and why we do research. What motivates investigators to ask their questions? Why does this research matter to practice or policy? How can we work across disciplines to address the important questions of our day? CommonVoice makes research more accessible and achievable for students, staff and faculty alike.

Fresh 24 With Marc Zumoff features longtime play-by-play announcer and Klein Faculty member Marc Zumoff, KLN ’92, sitting down 1-on-1 with “those who played, coached or sat on the hardwood. The Scoop 

Owl Scoop hosts a podcast called The Scoop that provides you with the latest information on Temple football, basketball and recruiting. This podcast features 1-on-1 interviews with current and former Temple coaches and Owls, NFL players and media members like ESPN Sports Center anchor Kevin Negandhi, KLN ’98. The Scoop has hired several Temple students who have gone on to work at places like The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Eagles. So be on the lookout as their current student interns make their way into illustrious media careers.
