This weeklong celebration of cherry and white spirit that took place Monday, Oct. 14–Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, culminated in our biggest tailgate of the year and the Homecoming football game where the Temple Owls took on the Tulsa University Golden Hurricane.

Speed Networking with Temple’s 30 Under 30

At this speed meet and greet event, attendees chatted with some of Temple’s most impressive up-and-coming Owls! Nearly 30 of the 30 Under 30 award winners from the past five years returned to the nest to mix, mingle and share stories with current students and fellow young alumni. Celebration of Philanthropy in Action

This year’s second annual event showcased the charitable impact of Temple’s most dedicated and visionary donors. University figureheads like President Richard Englert and Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Mary E. Burke, joined philanthropic leaders and members of the community to celebrate the palpable energy on Temple University Main Campus. Attendees celebrated the impact of igniting our students' dreams, the dedication of our faculty and the unity of our community. Read more about last year's first annual celebration here.

Tyler Art Market

This year’s 13th annual event presented a juried show of artwork by Tyler alumni and current students. Attendees enjoyed live music by the Boyer Jazz Band and a vendor demonstration of watercolor painting, glassblowing, photography and more! Pep Rally

Students gathered at the Bell Tower for a free pep rally to show their spirit, ignited by performances from the Temple University Diamond Marching Band. The event had something for everyone, with free food, music, games and giveaways.

Family Social

Temple’s outgoing President Richard Englert socialized on the roof terrace of Charles Library, visiting with Temple families and administrators. All attendees had the opportunity to get their picture taken with Hooter, the university’s mascot.

Mosaic Concert

This fast-paced concert featured back-to-back performances by Boyer student soloists and ensembles, including the TU Jazz Band, Wind Symphony, Choirs, Dance and chamber ensembles.

Athletics Hall of Fame

The Temple Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024 was formally inducted at a gala held at the Liacouras Center. The next day, the newest members received a warm public introduction during the Temple vs. Tulsa football game at the Linc.

Tailgate Village + Homecoming Game

The biggest event of them all! The Temple Owls faced off against the Tulsa University Golden Hurricane, with students, alumni, organizations and friends heading over to Tailgate Village for the ultimate pregame bash: games, giveaways and fun for all ages!
